A New moon marks the start of the 29-day lunar cycle. During this time it is positioned between the earth and sun. It cannot be seen in the night sky; the moon is dark, as it is a time for introspection. Meditating on what you want to bring forward during this cycle, as well as letting go of what no longer is in alignment for you, is a wonderful practice to activate during this time.
